Hi:
Thanks for this module!
I have setup a view for my simplenews related content.
I expected related content to use the order criteria used in this view when it renders the teaser list in the final node, but it seems to be used only for the selection form.
I think it would be very useful to show the related content result as in the view used for selection or, even better, as a configurable view, and not only as a standard teaser list.
I don't know if this is possible since the module would have to apply the view only to the selected nodes or to filter the view by the selected nodes.
What do you think?
In the meantime I would use the theme_relatedcontent to reorder and customize this behavior.

I also came across this problem. I noticed that this feature is specifically mentioned in the "Future Plans" section of the help text for RelatedContent:
The order of the teasers shown is not subject to the sort order setup in the view that filter nodes to be used by the RelatedContent. This will change in a future version of the module.neurojavi if you found a work around for this, can you explain more about how you got it to work?

I have start working on it.

The version 1.5 output the nodes in the same sort order as in the view from which they are picked.
