Issue Summary

When I try to edit a profile, I get a white screen with the following verbiage:

The site is currently not available due to technical problems. Please try again later. Thank you for your understanding.

If you are the maintainer of this site, please check your database settings in the settings.php file and ensure that your hosting provider's database server is running. For more help, see the handbook, or contact your hosting provider.

The database is running fine as is basically everything except this. I can add new profiles just fine--but can't edit preexisting ones. Why is this?

Is this still an issue? I don't have any ideas, but it sounds like maybe your profiles got corrupted somehow. Do you or did you have multiple databases set up in your settings.php or defined as a new source in B&M?

I wound up upgrading to the 7.x-2.5 version when I began using Drupal 7.x. Everything worked then. But before that, I'm not sure what caused the issue. I might be wrong here but I remember running into file permission dependencies at one point (6.x. version only). There were some work-arounds I had to accept but with the newest version, everything seems to function well.

I'll close this.
