Hi;

i don't know whether to ask here or in views_bonus. i use a front page view using the views_bonus plugin "Panels: Teasers, 2 columns".

Recently the view started to display the titles from the last teaser on the page as the node and page title: it shows both as the page title in the title bar and at the head of the panel.

It's not what i'd want on the front page. Is there a way of removing it? i've tried editing the page view settings to leave the title blank. Don't know what else to try.

thanks,
b

Project: Views (for Drupal 7) » Views Bonus Pack
Version: 5.x-1.6 » 5.x-1.2-alpha1

Let's start in the bonus pack; it's possibly happening somewhere in there?

It's probable, since i keep the views_bonus pack module up to date and this behavior is more recent than the newest views module update.

i don't know how to turn it off in a legitimate way. i know i can probably code up the theme PHP to not print the $title, or to print a blank or static one i choose, based on whether it's the frontpage that's being displayed, but that's a bandaid hack.

-- i have several other subsection frontpages on our site that also use very similar views with views_bonus teaser plugins, and they all show the same behavior.

i ended up just setting up a separate front page tpl.php file and removed the print $title type statements.
