I can see that the files are in the ../modules/pivots/ folder and the correct permissions are set, but there is not a line item for "pivots_async" in the admin/modules page. I only have 4 items: Pivots, Alias (Async) Algorithm, Google Search Algorith, Magic Word Algorithm.

Opps, I was seeing the files for pivots_async_alias* not pivot_async* - so the files may not be there after all.
