Just thought I'd mention my new Drupal site: www.snowblogs.net. Its a ski and snowboard blog portal and community site intended to showcase existing ski/snowboard blogs and encourage newbies to write their own blogs on the site.

I love the Drupal software and look forward to more enhancements in future (especially to the aggregator module which is the core of my site).

It took me a while to figure out what Drupal could do but I'm reasonably happy with the way the site is working although I need to do some more work on the design.

Any comments or suggestions welcome.

speaking as a picture framer who spends all day looking at colors, including lots of snow photos: i'd add a little more white to the color scheme. I find that even when the image of snow has little 'true' white, aka more greytones or cremes, that people prefer to emphasize white. It's just a mental trick - snow reminds people of really bright white, so when you introduce more grey or creme colors it looks 'dirty'. Also applies for waterfalls.

Perhaps introducing more white into the photo, title, or lightening the background (?)... another solution might be to make the background slightly darker and the image a little brighter to increase the emphasis on the snow aspect.

Layout and color schemes are otherwise great! I like the 'add a feed' idea.
