There must be away to do this that I simply don't see. I have created a simple view (with the views.module) using multiple sortable fields--mainly from the profile fields available. However, I would like to sort by username (to provide a link to each user's profile from the view) and I see that this option is not available to me. Can anyone tell me how they solved this problem? I would simply like a user profile link within the view itself.

thanks,

wim

Last choice I see for what you can sort on is 'Node: Author Name". Also available as a field that can be displayed (not sure if it links to use profile or not)

I appreciate your response nevets. Actually, and I forgot to mention this, sorry...I am not using nodes as a field type. I want a site user list through views without having to rely on users posting content...just their profile stuff is enough and then work with that. Any ideas?

thanks again,

wim

Since the profile module does not produce nodes views is not going t do the trick.

I feared it was so. All the power of the views.module...and it can't be unleashed upon user organization unless they post nodes. Man...what a bummer that is. Thanks for clearing that up nevets. A shame really.

cheers,
