johanneshahn commentedhi,
yes we are planning a d7 release (see roadmap).
but not until q2 2013
Comment #2
elamanI've already started porting process from Bitcache module. I think it will be better to do dirty port from version 6.x-1.x to 7.x-1.x. Any ideas and/or suggestions?
jvieille commentedBitcache is great, but scary. Without it, files are lost forever.
That said, the simplest way, the best.
If D6 and D7 can be as similar as possible, it will help maintaining both branches in a long run.
However, I would like to know the Johannes's ratiionnal for getting rid of Bitcache
Comment #4
elamanI stopped working on MSRC project which was using FileFramework & Bitcache modules.
Ether commentedIs this mean that D7 version won't be released ?
elamanLikely, unless other maintainers of this project will port it.
jvieille commentedIs johanneshahn stiill an active maintainer?
Is there any similar solution available for D7 / D8
If so, a migration path might be the solution?
By the way, I would certainly not stick to Drupal if this feature weren't available.

c-logemannEdit: I did a wrong post in this issue.
Here I want to say, that I am also interested in an upgrade path and try to help when I have time to. Maybe in about 3 month.
gobinathmClosing the issue. It was inactive for a long time & it's related to a Drupal Version which is not supported anymore
