I've downloaded and attempted to open the .gz file twice, with the same result (see message next):

"C:\drupal\new modules\eventrepeat-5.x-1.0.tar.gz: The archive is corrupt"

That's odd. I just downloaded it and was able to decompress it on my desktop with my mac. Can anyone else confirm that the tar.gz is not working correctly? Do you have the option of pulling it down from cvs?

1.1 have been released for some time so even it the arch was bad this issue is no more.
