I recently upgraded to 6.x-1.1 and large emails around 1000 characters in length appeared scambled in my outlook email client during testing.

After some research we found out that it was the base64 encoding not being decoded on delivery, im not sure whether something was wrong with the encoding or the headers, but downgrading back to 6.x-1.0 seems to have fixed the issue and all mails are being delivered normally again.

Drupal 6 end-of-life was 24 February 2016 - it has not been supported for more than two years.

There have been no further reports of similar problems since the original post. If this is still an issue with the Drupal 7 or Drupal 8 versions of MimeMail, please open a new issue with details on how to reproduce the problem.
