I uninstalled and re-installed manually and the coupon type is there. The first time I installed the module I did it through the modules interface of my drupal install. Sorry if this is a duplicate issue, I couldn't find it if it is.

I'd recommend to use Devel module reinstall feature for reinstalling this module, something might have gone wrong with your install.
