For some reason, when using Organic Groups, clicking on the 'Create Advertisement' link brings up a node form without any options for specific ad types. There IS one set of radio buttons to select between image and text ad types, but submission of the page gives errors because none of the type-specific fields even show up.
Another funny thing to me is that the OG version of the node/add/ad page is not the same as the site-wide one - i.e. there isn't a page with links and descriptions of the types available, just the page I described above. I'm I doing something wrong, or does this need investigating?

jeremy commentedThere could be an incompatibility between the ad module and organic groups, it's not something I've tried. I copied how the e-commerce module provides sub types under node/add, is the e-commerce module also incompatible?

rconstantine commentedGood question. I haven't used that one. Just for completeness, here is a screen shot of my symptom. I'll poke around the code and see if ecommerce makes accommodation for OG somehow.
I looked for the "Submit Advertisement" title to see if I could find the menu item that relates, but didn't see it.

rconstantine commentedThis may have to do with the og_user_roles module. I've posted an issue over there. Either the author will post something here if he needs your help in making this module compatible with his and visa versa, or I will for him. I did a little something to make the og_forum module compatible with og_user_roles. As I recall, there were only a few 'if' statements that had to be modified, so it was pretty easy.
BTW, I disabled the og_user_roles module to test, and your module works fine with OG. Changing issue title to reflect that...

rconstantine commentedThe og_user_roles author fixed this on his end.
