I think a way to let users send SMS or send News Feed to mobiles from our drupal sites would be a great idea.

What do u think?

This sounds interesting. I don't know to much about SMS, but it seems that the notify module would be a likely candidate for SMS messages.

Did you have more specific examples about how you would like to use your mobile with a drupal site?

In mobiles we would get as messages for users News feeds, updates of the site, etc.

In a administrator view we could get message of thorttle, or when the site get a certain number of visitors.

The SMS are so small messages but is a so fast way to get users and administrator noticed about many things.

I don't know if you're still interested, but I've just added an SMS Gateway module for sending notifications from Drupal to mobile phones (and, eventually receiving replies back from them).

It's in Drupal CVS at the moment, or downloadable as a zip file at my site. I'll add it as a proper module project once I've been able to test the incoming message reception properly.

You'll need to modify other modules to use it for the stuff you describe, but it should make it simple.
