Occasionally it's difficult to determine which item is desired when using the autocomplete amazon field. There are instances where there are multiple results with the same title. So unless you explicitly know the ASIN there's not really any way to know you're adding the item you want -- Of course, that kind of defeats the purpose of it being an autocomplete rather than just accepting an ASIN.

Instead it would be useful to have more information available.. a picture, perhaps price, etc.

Ultimately, I think I'd like to see this field be able to leverage something like a ctools modal (like the way media module's browser works), for for the time being this patch clears things up a bit.

Feedback would be awesome.

Note: This patch will _not_ be commit.

The patch doesn't seem to be able to apply, not sure why. I've attached a screenshot of what that patch produces.

Pretty cool looking. Would be hard to use on a mobile device.

True I suppose. How many people actually manage their site by mobile device though?

As stated though, this won't be commit. Ultimately I think a widget akin to the media module's 'browser' would be good. And there's no reason that couldn't just be another input widget available for an amazon item (ASIN) field.

I agree that managing a site via a small device is unlikely. I was thinking about users, but this is an unlikely problem. Objection withdrawn.
