Hi,
We heavily use drupal 6 for our business, effectively, everything we do is logged on various nodes; jobs, invoices, customers, etc. About 90% of hits to our site are ourselves. We are toying with the idea of moving drupal from the web to our own in house server to speed up access time locally.
My question is, Can I have a server out in the web that will receive anonymous users but when they log in, they will be directed to our internal server? This will cut down on unnecessary hits and bandwidth. The web side doesn't need to be 'live' but updated a few times a day. The only integration we have with anonymous users is via facebook comments so it doesn't need to do anything other than show static content.
I would welcome any suggestions.
Thanks,
Paul.
