I like fusion but seems there is little activity since March 2012. Has it been abandoned?

Also, their support forum has a bunch of irrelevant posts.

Subscribing. Same for Fusion Accelerator (no activity since March).

Also very curious about this. I used to do most of my theme development with Zen, but had been shifting toward Fusion because it offered more features - and Fusion Accelerator in particular seemed like a very promising development. But if Fusion's future is in doubt, obviously that's not the way to go... :-( Very much hoping to find out otherwise!

I'm thinking of adopting Adaptive Theme for upcoming project with responsive features for devices, however, the Browsecap module seems to have some issue with the library/data source it uses. The person that supported the library no longer does and requires module edit.

I find this silence discouraging because I love Fusion and use it for all of my Drupal projects. The silence is deafening.

I'm in same situation. Didn't think would need to consider moving to new theme engine but have started that direction. I guess when transitioning clients to d7 then will also need to re-theme, major bummer dudes.

I loved Fusion, I used it on an incredibly big/important site.. and I even bought some themes from them. But there has been little activity here. I've moved to Omega now, which feels incredibly powerful but it takes a little getting used to it.. very easy to break the grid, for example..

Yes, their forums are overrun with spam.
I've not gotten any email reply to their support email.
No one in their IRC channel...

Wasn't it part-run by stephthegeek? Her personal site is updated.. Guess they all abandoned fusiondrupalthemes and topnotchthemes...?

Seems pretty irresponsible to abandon a site/company when you have customers who need support, without even leaving a notice!

This excerpt from her blog might explain it:

Since my partial hospitalization program just ended, I met with a new long-term psychiatrist for the first time today. At least the revolving door is over, and I’m looking forward to getting off the Zyprexa and maybe getting some energy and more of my brain back. If that’s a good thing.

I’m frustrated that I have to wait a few weeks for an official diagnosis beyond Bipolar I.

Hmm, that's unfortunate. However, I thought there was more than one person behind this base theme..

I'm also concerned at the lack of response. An update on maintenance status would be very much appreciated.

Fusion is an important part of my development at present but I may be forced to adopt a different base theme.

There were other people associated with TNT, but I don't see any of them around or doing anything. I would love to see someone take over this project if the original team is no longer able to do so.

The short answer is yes there will be support for Fusion going forward. More details will follow soon but there definitely is support for Fusion and the project will move ahead...

Glad to hear that things will be moving forward. Unfortunately, this recent period in which there were no updates, there was no communication and the broken website at fusiondrupalthemes.com - it was down for a time and now Google warns it may be harmful - has certainly shaken my confidence in TNT.

As an avid user of Fusion, it would be great to have an update from anyone still maintaining this theme. Since there have been no releases for 6 months, it doesn't appear that "there will be support for Fusion going forward".

Could anyone still involved in the project please post an update on what's going on?

Myself, and I'm sure others, would be glad to help out any way we can.

I'll second Poieo's sentiment.

If anyone is interested in taking over, here this is the process you will need to follow if a maintainer doesn't chime in. https://drupal.org/node/251466

After some efforts to organize efforts I do not think there is viable support going forward. #17 explains the procedure to follow if someone does want to take on the considerable effort.
