No access to account selectors...

Hi,

sorry if this seems like a noob question, but I have been researching this all day and have gotten nowhere.
I feel like I'm missing something really obvious, but can find no information to solve this anywhere.

I want to set up a rule that adds a newly created user email address to a MailChimp mailing list.
Basically I thought it should be as easy as going:

After saving a new user account -> Subscribe user to a mailchimp list (using selector "account:mail")

Problem is that I have no selectors other than "account:roles".
I've been reading that I need to use a condition to reveal the account selecors, but no combination of conditions seem to do this.
From what I've read, it should be as simple as going: "Entity is of type -> User," or "NOT User is blocked" but this seems to do nothing.

I've tried numerous other rules just to see if I can get the account selectors to become available, but have had no success.
Can someone please shed any light on how to reveal these elusive account selectors?
