Flash fallback doesn't load for mp3 file in IE8

So everything seems to be working great, but for some reason the flash fallback doesn't load up when an mp3 file is viewed with in IE8.

The video files, however, do utilize the flash fallback in IE8 as they should. I imagine this would be a quick fix to load the minplayer.swf for audio fallbacks as well.

Am I crazy/missing something or is this a bug?
