Created a simple view, HTML or unformatted, 2 fields, inline.
Added code to display on a page in a text field.

It displays data but not inline.

Any ideas? I have 3 websites that I've installed this on and it looks OK on 1 of them. The views are the same.

I have more information:

It looks like there is a conflict with the text format setting "Convert line breaks into HTML (i.e.
and

)".
If the text format has this option ticked for the field containing an inserted view, it will not print on one line.

Not sure why.

Maybe this is a views problem instead?

D7 reached its EOL back in January 2025, and there is no active release for D7 for this module anymore.
Development or support is not planned for D7. All D7-related issues are marked as outdated in a bunch.

Everyone can apply the patch above (not tested by the maintainers, tested by the community) to their D7 projects.
If the issue remains relevant for D10+ versions, merge requests with proposed solutions for a new module version (D10+) are welcome in a new follow-up issue.
