4.7.8 reported by System Info module?

I thought I just upgraded my site with the lastest 4.7.7 core, but after doing the routine and then using my site's system info module, it reports:

Drupal
Version 4.7.8
Configuration file sites/default/settings.php

Note the 4.x core folder (expanded from the latest upgrade package) I downloaded from http://drupal.org/drupal-5.2, which is where drupal's front page points us for upgrades, is clearly labeled "4.7.7" but the system module inside that folder has "define('VERSION', '4.7.8');" at the top of the file.

Did a search here on drupal.org for "4.7.8" but nothing shows up-- any ideas if it's just a typo or if I messed up the upgrade somehow?

I believe you are corect that would be a typo.

may want to file this as a bug report on the system module using the issues link in your navigation menu.
