I built a test site using the latest v2 code and D7's default installation profile (no further customizations), created a couple of extra default displays for the Article content type and created some content. When I ran the Panelizer v3 upgrade (latest codebase) it ran panelizer_update_7105 through 7108 but afterwards I could not see the extra default displays I'd created, only the automatic default display. The {panelizer_defaults} table still has the two rows for the two extra displays I built, but they're just not showing.

After going though a few settings pages, and clearing the cache at one point, the pages showed up again. Might it have been the cache clear that resolved the problem?

A cache clear could definitely be a culprit in the v2 to v3 upgrade.

Would need to reproduce this in order to debug, I think. Marking NMI in the hopes that someone else who runs into this can provide information.
