Problem

There are two parts to this problem but both hinder usage of the module.

  1. The README.txt doesn't have any directions on usage or configuration to get a working TimelineJS view.
  2. The form element description for the date field mapping is deceptive. It says the date field needs to be a unix timestamp but really it needs to be a date field.

I've attached a patch to address the two problems above. I should make mention of the fact that although this patch includes directions for configuring the view, I haven't actually got a view working yet (rather ironic, I know).

Hopefully this patch is a starting point for more robust documentation or in addition, will reveal any configuration mistakes I've made.

Thanks for helping out in testing and contributing a patch! We are aware of the module not working currently as expected. Some recent development caused the module to stop working on fresh installations. We are now rolling back the code to latest stable point, and re-integrate the latest improvements by hand more carefully. We are also planning to release an alpha or beta soon, once we reach stable code.

No problems, I'm getting more familiar with the TimelineJS library at the moment so I can be of more help.

I just noticed that the latest commit on the git repository has the rollback. I'll try using that.
