So I followed the steps to a t and double checked them. I can't find a demo site utilizing the Events calendar feature so I'm not sure if mine is working correctly. I'm thinking it's supposed to show the events in the list for the calender day rather than going straight to the day view?
Example. I click the date in the calendar on the left and it takes me to that day. I thought it was supposed to update the list to what is going on that day?

If you mean the list in the right column that would depend on how the list is being generated.
