Title:on the administer by module page» Picasa installation as described in README is not working
Priority:normal» critical

I'm using a non-production but live web site for testing purposes. I'm using Drupal 5.3 and have installed Picasa 5.x-1.x-dev dated August 6, 2007.

The instructions at http://www.kevinbridges.org/picasa as well as the README file that comes with the Picasa download state the following:

INSTALLATION:
1. Place picasa folder into your Drupal modules/ directory.
2. Enable the picasa module by navigating to
admin > modules
3. Bring up picasa settings page by navigating to
admin > settings > picasa
Enter your Picasa Username.
4. Optionally enable a "Picasa Random Image" block by navigating to
admin > build > block
5. View your albums at http://www.example.com/albums

With regard to Step #1, shouldn't one place the Picasa folder into the "sites/all/modules" directory instead of the "modules" directory? This is what we're told to do at http://drupal.org/node/70151, so the instructions above should be clarified. I've installed Picasa into the sites/all/modules directory on my test web site.

Step #2 completed.

With regard to Step #3, when I go to mysite.com/admin/settings, Picasa is nowhere to be seen.

With regard to Step #4, when I go to mysite.com/admin/build/block, Picasa is nowhere to be seen.

With regard to Step #5, when I go to view my album at mysite.com/albums, I get a "Page not found".

Like the previous user craigntammy orginally noted, when I go to mysite.com/admin/by-module and look under Picasa, all I see is the "Configure permissions" link.

This sounds like a great module and I'm excited to use it...once the above mentioned bugs get fixed.

As stated in the release notes ... this was a development version you were generating bugs from. Fixed in version 5.x-3.1
