Though, I might disagree :D The spacing is fine, IMO. If anything, maybe align to the right or center it.

I agree that it is not a bug, and it can be fixed in a subtheme. However, I still think that the Read more box is a bit clunky. Maybe consider doing something similar to the products pages.
