Advice on whether to use this module or not

Issue Summary

Hi, I am setting up an intranet that will consist of a central office that umbrellas a number of satellite offices. We integrated Drupal with our Active Directory (ldap integration module) and Currently I have Organic Groups working with OG multiple mandatory roles so that when a user logs in, they are assigned to a group(s) based on role membership which is mapped to drupal from an AD Distribution List or Security Group. So my plan was to have each office as its own group with various subgroups, but then I learned of this OG Sites module and it got me thinking that I could have a multiple site install with each office getting its own site, the /sites/all/modules/ directory would hold all the common modules each office would have its own ldap_integration module in /sites/office1/modules/ldap_integration/ for specific office AD integration and perhaps its own /sites/office1/themes/ directory. I am just getting everything configured with the project as each office being an Organic Group, and there is an existing office that already has a Drupal site for an office specific intranet. Would I be able to bring this module into the site I am currently developing and then tie it to the existing remote office's Drupal intranet (I have full access to the existing site and server it resides on)?
