navigation links in new pages

Would it be possible to automatically create a link back to the parent page if a new page is created. This sort of ties in with the feature request for a table of contents / a menu that updates to show hierarchically the structure of the wiki - so far, each page appears to be accorded equal rank and appears in isolation to all the other wiki pages. The only way to navigate at the moment (using drupaled's implementation of wikitools) is to search through "All content".
