I would like to be able to give one free product, not a problem I can discount a product by 100%, however if you limit this to 1 product, then the buy one get one free applies only to the first product pair.

I would like to be able to apply the coupon multiple times based on a number of products, for example applied each time two products are added. If there are three it would only be applied once.

I have tried setting a max number of redemptions per user but the coupon will only apply once.

Any thoughts

Also looking for a solution to this. From what I understand about Product Kits, they're for publicly grouping things together into a bundle. What I'm after needs to be only available via a coupon code - I don't want it available to everyone. When trying to offer "2 for the price of 1" promotions, I experience the same problem as in OP. The alternative is to apply 50% discount to the order sub total, but this only works if people order in even numbers. As soon as they buy an odd number it goes wrong.
Any advice gratefully received.
