The same problem was with 6.x
Page reloads after clicking 'save' without saving/adding node. If rich text is disabled before clicking save, the node is created as expected.
I foud out that the problem disappears if i delete all the image/file attachment fields for the content type.

There have been a couple of YUI patches committed to 7.x-2.x-dev after 7.x-2.2 was released. Could you please see if using that fixes this issue with file fields?
