paymentreference_update_N() fails if there is nothing to update

#1812418: Delete items from {paymentereference} when deleting payments or fields contains a fix that fails if there is nothing to fix, because it may result in a query like DELETE FROM {paymentreference} WHERE (pid IN ()) ; and at least MySQL does not like empty IN() conditions.
