how to convert an existing feature in to an apps application?
is there any documentation, tutorial or is there any plugin which can auto do it?

After installing App server, http://drupal.org/project/appserver, you can use the App manifest module, http://drupal.org/project/app_manifest, to help generate the manifest you need.
