I'm running into a problem where the FROM email address on outgoing Drupal generated email messages always contains junk characters at the end of the name - for example "info@littleartshow.com.�" I've looked through messages here and in issues but am having trouble finding anything that will resolve this. I'm thinking it might be creating problems for receivers, who aren't getting registration confirmations, etc. Plus, it looks lousy. All site files and modules are current for version 6, and I'm not using SMTP for email.
Any suggestions for fixing this, or pointers to solutions posted here, would be greatly appreciated!
