Putting Banner Below First Node on Main Page

The title should say it all. I am using a PHPTemplate based template for my website. I would like finer control over the Banner module banner placement. Ideally, I would like to display it after the first content node on the main page. It's not immediately obvious how to do this.

Any ever try this?
