Hi , i have this small football site, it's just for parents, players and fans of our 4 teams (aged 9-16). We have been getting a lot of snoopers and haters coming and posting.

i am wondering if there is a way to set up a front page to my site with login and password that is the same for everyone example L:team name P: year established.

you would than be brought to your regular login page. and where you could request a password

almost like an authentication' that you are one of us and not one of them

You could try to put an .htaccess file in your root directory

but i don't know what that means or what it entails?

Then you can probably protect your directory access through your accounts cpanel/adminpanel.

If you can't do this you should google for .htaccess and see what comes up.
