it just... doesn't work... should it? is there a demo somewhere of it working? documentation of how to activate it?

Please read the release notes.

Hey there,

I did read the release notes, as well as install dhtml_menu, but this does seem like a bug for 6. Maybe it's just something I have missed, but I have been trying to make these blocks show for a couple of weeks now. I have also been watching this issue in hopes that it would be fixed, and can't understand how blocks not showing up is by design.

I have used the settings page for this module to choose which blocks to expose to the blocks page (great feature), and I can see those ones listed on the blocks page. When I enable them, it looks like everything is fine on the blocks page. But the blocks will not appear.

I am hoping someone can explain how this is by design, I feel like I must be missing something, this feels like a bug. I have re-read the release notes, and the only thing I can think of is that perhaps this is "not finished"?

Thanks,
Mosa

Hey, I am changing the status of this issue but I sure don't mean to be a bug. I have definitly read and re-read the release notes, but I am hoping for a little more info on what it is I missed, because I can't see it.

The blocks generated, despite showing up as enabled and working on the blocks page, are not appearing at all on the site, although they show up everywhere else they ought to. This is a Drupal 6.6 install.

I have tried enabling the generated blocks in many regions to no avail, as well as tried reinstalling the module a couple of times. I wanted to see if anyone could be able to to explain a little more about what I have missed from the release notes? Or why this is by design? I am just wondering if I have missed something that will save me from doing this all by hand.

Thank you in advance, this module is awesome and I have used it on a Drupal 5 site for some time and really really appreciated it's functionality.

Interesting. I'm brand new to Drupal, but have been a developer for a decade. This is my fourth day playing with Drupal. I downloaded this module to get the taxonomy "block". I have installed it, clicked to "expose" the block. Moved the block to my to my "Left sidebar". Saved, and...nothing there. I've cleared cache, and still nothing.

I'm using
Drupal 6.6
dhtml_menu-6.x-3.2
taxonomy_dhtml-6.x-1.0-rc1

doodaddy,

Thank You! It looks like the dhtml_menu project has been updated and the theme functions have been removed / reworked. Can anyone else who is experiencing this issue confirm that they are using 6.x-3.2 of dhtml_menu instead of 2.2?

I'll be working on reintegration and should have an update posted soon.

http://drupal.org/node/345778 - 6.x-1.0-rc2 should fix this. Let me know if it doesn't.

niiiicccceeeeeee

It works. :) I have the block for each vocabulary.

I don't see the "block listing recent nodes on the site". That's OK for me... I can now use the type of block I wanted.
