Using drupal 7.17 and dev versions of media_youtube media, file_entity modules and TinyMCE 3.5.7 inserting videos doesn't work.

I've tested this in both Panopoly RC3 and in a vanilla installation of the In the current build of Panopoly the outcome is the preview image being included in the final content. On a fresh install where only the supporting modules are included the result was the word "false" being printed.

When using CKEditor 3.6.5.7647 everything works like a charm in both Panopoly and in the vanilla.

Can you check this issue #1835826: TinyMCE 3.5.7 converts Media tags to string "false" and see if the solution there works for you?

Turning off the Verify HTML didn't affect the results for me. I have not had a chance to try the older version of TinyMCE.

Confirming this issue. Tried removing Verify HTML, removing any HTML parsing on the text format, and using TinyMCE 5.4.9 as well as 3.5.8. Didn't seem to resolve the issue.

Testing on Drupal 7.17, Panopoly RC3, dev versions of media, media_youtube, and file_entity.

Same here. Sometimes inserts a picture from the video, sometimes even clicking on Submit results nothing. Same enviroment as #3
