DEVELOPER WANTED - PAID SERVICES

We have two Drupal tasks to do with our website 'Flick' that need completing. The website is already developed and ready expect for these final tasks.
One change is a simple browser solution and the second is a settings change. We anticipate each task to take 2 /3 hours at most.

It is interesting how many people come to Paid Services forum with built websites requiring very small finishing touches. My experience is that the finishing touches take 80% of the time. Sometimes the poster does not have the skills to complete the task themselves, and I have helped in those circumstances. Where the poster does not have those skills one would hesitate to accept that they do have the skills to make a fair projection of the time the task is likely to take. I am sure there will be responses, but there would be far more responses to a post of this kind where a poster takes a moment to explain the background to reasons they wish to outsource the work, when they also consider they have the expertise to estimate the time it will require.

Very good points John_B and I totally agree. The Pareto principle ("80/20 rule") very much applies.

I just bounce away from any client,. if one of these phrases are used often:
1) Only few minor touch-ups need to be done
2) This is just the tip of the iceberg. We have more in the "pipeline" for you
3) I know this is a very small job,. I just don't have to complete it myself
