Getting the above error and I have noticed a couple of other sites are getting it as well.

Using the dev version from 2012-10-16.
Using Author field. Citation field is empty.

Does anybody have a tip.

This is a bug introduced in the last dev release. There is a way to get around it until I upload the next release which should be in the next couple of days.

In the quotes configuration area under general change the "Make author a link" setting to yes then save the configuration. That will remove the error. The error effects both the author and citation.
