Phone field migration error

Having trouble migrating phone fields from D6 to D7. Error messages are:

Missing field module: ''. This field cannot be migrated.

Missing widget: The 'phone' widget is not available for the field_phone field, it will be set to the default widget.

Wondering if anyone has found a work-around for this?
