lhslbandy.com - suggestions of modules and modifications

Hi!
I have the responsabilty for my teams (electronical hockey) homepage www.lhslbandy.com.
Im relativily new to Drupal after converting from PHP-Fusion and are therefor asking for tips/hints regarding modules and modifications fitting a typical site for a sportsteam. The old page had a photogallery aswell as an oversight over the teams player laid out in a nice design. We are also aiming to tell anyone on the team to make their own account for interacting within the team, so if there were some sort of systen for sending messages back and forth, it would also be perfect.
