Does anyone know how to bring structure in an application. I am new to PHP and started to use Drupal this weekend.i
For example visit a renting object, read all text related to the renting object then have a button rent the object (is one large content type with all text preferable or make seperate content types with text and relate it to the renting object).
After reading the user can choose an available week (selection on the available Saturdays) then select the end week later or equal than the begin week
and the renting details (name, birth, bank account) The weeks must also show the weekprice.
For the people who travel along I created tenants with 5 items name, birthdate
The confirmation of the booking must be send by mail with all the booking details in it.
The navigation of the app can be found at http://members.chello.nl/jophof use safari/chrome/ipad (so not IE or Firefox)
So in this app there is a relation between renting object and the booking. The user doesn't have to provide it since from his viewpoint it is a natural relation). So how do you implement the under the surface relation. Use a hidden field and fill it in programmatically. An example would be great.
I have implemented the address object but I miss house number I have Address 1 and Address 2
The resulting site must look good on the desktop and must give a native app feeling on an iPad/iPhone. The example site is created by Senchatouch JS framework. I want to use jQuery mobile (and there are tools to do so)
I am using aqua drupal how do I deploy the environment. Just copy the tree to the provider?
Thanks,
John (Dutch)

To answer your question,
To answer your question, Acquia is set up with GIT, so you can use that to deploy your system.

Application questions
Lets rephrase my questions:
how to ensure anonymous users can view my main component type (renting object) with all available fields
anonymous users must not be possible to edit the content
I have the following content type
renting object with a lot of text items (this must be displayed in the language of the guest user). If I have more than one renting object the usage must be by URL like:
localhost:8082/villax
a week content type having price, data, occupied and reserved item. The con ten type holds 53 records per calendar year (all Saturday dates)
a booking content type with all the personal fields of the renter (name, address, birthdate, bank account etc). Maximum 6 renters where one is the main renter.
I think underwater the renting object (house), the begin and end week and the booking must be glued together. How to do this? Using hidden fields?
How do I glue this to an application like this one http://members.chello.nl/jophof (safari/chrome and use the botton bar to book the house)
The site is multi lingual and I want to make it appear as a mobile web app for usage on the iPad. For this I want to use the query mobile module. Any advice on this is welcome.
The status so far is I have the component types defined. The language selector with country flags at the top. When I visit localhost:8082 no content is displayed.
John
Thanks,
John
A few things. First, there is
A few things. First, there is just too much there to answer in a single post/thread. We can't teach you how to build a Drupal site on a thread, we can help you with a single problem or two, but you are asking how to use Drupal overall to build a website. You are best off spending some time learning Drupal - read a book and/or do a bunch of tutorials you find online, and then ask some more specific questions for us.
Second, the questions you are asking don't seem to be in regards to developing modules, and this section is the module development section. Questions like this go in the Post Installation section, and you are much more likely to get help there.
