I realize that I haven't posted in a while, but I have a few shorter post in the pipeline, tentatively called Drupal Bits. The idea is to post quick tips and tricks and not get caught up in long and overly complicated posts. I am hoping to get a larger audience for these via Drupal Planet.

I also want to post more updates about modules I maintain but that's a secondary priority.

Feed validates and comments are open.
It seems as if you are using a generic "drupal" tag for this feed. For inclusion to the planet it is a strongly enforced practice to use a dedicated "planet drupal" tag to give you the opportunity to carefully control what goes up here.
Additionally, although your old post are fine, I really would like to see something recent to properly evaluate the content.

I'm curious, the submission criteria says to "use a visible Drupal Planet tag to control your content, this will help the Drupal Planet webmasters with your application." Does "visible" mean displayed on the page with other taxonomy terms? Because "Drupal Planet" doesn't mean anything, semantically-speaking, to my content. Can I suppress the display of the Drupal Planet tag and still be within the guidelines of a DP feed? Perhaps after the approval process?

re: newer content: I'll pop this back to needs review when I've gotten around to posting some of the entries I've been meaning to post. Sometime it takes a little fire under my butt to get me moving... :)

A visible tag makes it easier to evaluate the feed but is not a must. Looking forward to what is coming.

As promised, though only about 6 months later, I've added more and regular content to my site. My aim is for one post per month and I'm made that goal for the last three months, so I figured I should raise the issue of exposing my feed to Drupal Planet again.

The feed is still fine technically and the content is very welcome. I've added you but noticed that somehow the url you provided in the OP seems to resolve to the site-wide feed (notice the difference between the content at that url and what aggregator is picking up). Could you look into it please?

That was my bad... I was trying to add a "Drupal Planet" tag to all my Drupal content and I missed a few. I've synced them up again so that what the aggregator is collecting matches the link in the OP. Sorry about that.

I'm not sure if I should set this issue to "fixed" or if that is for the infrastructure team to do. Leaving it as NR for now, feel free to change as protocol dictates.

Ok, if ticked the box and you are on the Planet now.

I am quite groggy atm and therfore a bit slow but clicking on the Drupal Planet tag on your site brings up a quite different list as the one I get here for the Planet. I assume this won't be a problem for and is merely a sign of some kind of mishmash on your site.

I'm guessing that's the result of some overzealous Boost caching (set at 1 day). I've cleared those caches and it should all be the same content now.

@dddave, The feed still validates... Can you let me know what you were seeing in terms of 404's? There's only a couple in my error logs.

(Granted I haven't had the time to post in ages, so I can understand a suspension based on that... :)

Could it be that I changed my domain to serve SSL-only between when I was approved and now? Is the 301 being reported as a 404 perhaps?

Dug a bit and found https://mikekeran.com/taxonomy/term/6/feed which seems to work for Aggregator.

I removed the feed since not even the one reported in #17 worked.

The feed from MikeKeran.com seems to be broken, because of error "-110 Connection timed out".
