Where can I ask command line questions in the forum?

Is there a group that help each other with command line for UNIX? I am learning from a textbook which is great but sometimes I need to ask a question as a complete newbie with no formal education and/or experience.

your best bet is likely an IRC chat channel for general terminal questions where they aren't related to drupal/drush. Google is of great aid as well. There are drupal IRC channels too. For example #drupal-support

yikes! thanks but i think i will feel my own way along otherwise will get way off track. besides i'm getting help now in installation in this forum. :)
