i display a rss feed through the aggregator on our drupal site we use at a university in the uk....the feed comes from an 'original' university feed

the feed displays ok in our drupal site apart from when the 'original' feed has a feed 'item' removed...the removed 'item' remains visible in the feed list on the drupal site (which it should not...it should dissapear as the item is no longer in the original feed)

does anyone else have this problem?

it looks like a cache error, but i wouldnt really know

if anyone knows how to fix it let me know....ive checked the forums but no luck

Hi--
This is an old post but I'm encountering the same problem with core Aggregator in v6.10.
These are for upcoming events in the university calendar system that I'm pulling in as an RSS feed and I'm having the follow problem with the way the feeds are cached:
When something is added that occurs soon than something existing in the feed that occurs later the feed items are out of order in the list. I'm having to regularly "Remove Items" and re-run cron in order to dump the cache and refresh.
