I updated my 7.14 to 7.17 and the following day, it returned to 7.14...
Did again and one more time I had the 7.147 the next day...
And it happens all the time.
What is going on?

doesn't make much sense, unless your host is rolling back the server for some reason. what if your workflow for updating from 7.14 to 7.17?
Just upload the files in the
Just upload the files in the home directory and running the upgrades scripts...
I guess it might be a roll back from the provider... I'm getting nuts and makes no sense at all...

version is stored in the system.module file. It's what drupal reports on the status report. Check that file and make sure there isn't a second copy of it anywhere on your system.
