alpha-2 was working under D7 sudden Fatal error and a seemingly new requirement for php 5.3

PHP 5.3 is now required--not recommended as it states on notifications project page.

"Fatal error: Call to undefined function notifications_object() in [...]sites/all/modules/notifications/notifications_content/notifications_content.module on line 214"

Reverting to alpha in an attempt to support notifications on a D7 site on a server that won't be going to php 5.3 soon.
