Content access seems not working for me

Can't get results with content access.
I think it should reserve the access to a specific content type to a user role I checked on in the "access control" tab of content type configuration module.
Instead, if as anonymous, I call the nodes of that content type, I can see all even if I never checked for anonymous in content type configuration page access control tab.
Can anyone explain me?

Are you using views to call the nodes? If so check the access control in the view.

Thanks for replay. Yes I am using Views for displaying lists of nodes but in another section of the site. Is there a relation?
Perhaps should I to rebuild permissions, but how to?
