On page http://drupal.org/download, there's an explanation of what Drupal versions are compatible with PHP 5.1 and 5.2.
"Note: Drupal 4.7/5.x are compatible with PHP 4, 5.0 and 5.1 versions. PHP 5.2 compatibility is only available from Drupal 4.7.5 / 5.x."
I think this is obtuse and hard to understand, so I'd like to change it to:
"PHP 5.2 compatibility is only available with Drupal 4.7.5 or 5.x and higher"
What I need, however, is some confirmation that Drupal 4.7.4 does NOT work with PHP 5.2. Anyone? Killes?

senpai commentedHeine said that D4.7.4 cannot maintain a session when paired with PHP 5.2 I suppose this means its ok for me to rewrite this description then.
senpai commentedI tried to edit the drupal project page's description, but it won't let me save the node cause:
* The root of the CVS directory () does not match the selected project type (Drupal project). By default, spaces in the type name are converted to hyphens in the path, but custom mappings can also be defined. Given the current project type, the first element of the directory path should be: drupal-project.
* The short project name (drupal) does not match the last part of the CVS directory ().
How shall I fix this?
sepeck commentedHow to make clear that Drupal will still work with php4? The very first question in the forums will be ... This note says php5.2, will Drupal 5.x still work with php4?
senpai commentedOk, so maybe the change should read: "Drupal works with PHP 4 & 5. If you need the newest PHP 5.2 support, however, you must use Drupal 5.3 or 4.7.6."
senpai commentedStrike that. It needs to say "Drupal works with PHP 4 & 5. If you need support for the newest PHP 5.2, however, you must use Drupal 5.1 (and higher) or Drupal 4.7.5 (and higher)" Yeah, I rule.
