BloggerAPI vs. Metaweblog

Just trying to decide which to go with and have a few questions. Does using bloggerapi mean people who host a blog on blogger.com can cross-post it on a Drupal site also? Can they sue the blogger, "blog this" tool to post to a Drupal site? Which works better with Flickr? I also saw a post about uploading images with Ecto using metaweblogapi, does that still work? W.bloggar vs. Ecto anyone? All your answers are greatly appreciated.

use "movabletype" if available
the Movable type api provides the richest feature set... however, if unavailable - use metaweblogapi.
and, I personally use ecto (but am not on windows).
images with meta?
Does it support image uploads into posts? Also do you need Movable type site to use the movable type api, or is there a good offline one? Thanks for responding.
Could someone tell me if I
Could someone tell me if I can use the MetaWeblog API to post a page or story?
Yes
Go to Administer > Settings > BlogAPI and check off the content types you want to enable posting for. Your offline client must support the display of multiple blogs.
need info
Hi guys,
I know about metaWeblog API where posting a new entry in a blog will be like this
metaWeblog.newPost
in the xml rpc call
what about Movable API? can anyone show me examples of how a movable type API post (new blogPost) will be sent?
apologies for the topicJacking
but I just wanted to know..
if there a way to post 'from' a drupal site to another site that uses 'bloggerAPI' (or 'metaweblog')??
I'm working on a site and wanted the users to be able to post to their respective blogs whereever on earth they are.. from this site. (like send this topic with comments to a my blog on someother site, etc) instead of actually have a blog on my site..
thanks

gautam_chandna, you can try
gautam_chandna, you can try the Blog Client module. It looks like it may have been abandoned, so if this is important to you perhaps you could offer a bounty to have it updated for 4.7/5.0.
For more specialized uses, take a look at the LiveJournal Cross Poster and Crossite modules.
