when I changed grid-width to 1180px from 960px, Its working but when changing columns Its not working (changing).

What exactly are you doing, what value are you setting ?

I am setting 1200px in grid and 24 in columns. Its changing grid to 1200px but columns are not changing, Its still 16.

Never happened to me so I'll need more debug info to be able to spot the issue.
It might be related to #1833762: sasson happily ignores grid settings, try to go over that issue and see if any suggestion over there gives you any help.

Thanks, that helped me. The columns settings was changing, the grid background was not updating (still not updating). I just disabled the grid background.

But It would be helpful, If you can check it out.

Please try again with the latest 7.x-3.x-dev (wait for it to update, shouldn't take more than 12h), there was a big change in this commit - I hope it won't break anything you already did.
