We had 5.x.1.x installed, and had applied the pending patch to fix the issue of the sticking chat window, and undersized dialogue boxes in IE7.
This all worked well for us.
Now we downloaded/installed 5.x.2.x, noticed the same issues with sticking/undersized boxes, so applied the same revisions (manually), but this now this fix seems to cause the whole module to stop working. (in IE7).
(I noted another poster also describing this issue after upgrading to x.2.x, but can't relocate that post)

We've got few requests same with yours, and it is very important for us to help our module users. So we are going to test it in IE7 again and apply required patches/bugfixes.
